This is one of those life changes. My father and I shared a love of horses. When I was feeling off-kilter I would call him and see if I could come over and hang with his horse. Not riding, but walking, grooming, simply being. My father passed away recently, and in my grief I have been nostalgic for some of that horse comfort. A friend posted something about Horse Mornings and it seemed the answer to my longing. I signed up and showed up, not sure what to expect. Through this wonderful program I was able to move from my previous experience with horses into this new place of purpose, partnership and bonding. While participating in the sessions I felt the weight lifting from my heart and experienced some release. I look forward to reengaging with horses on this whole new level and continue to learn and grow with this program. I'm grateful to Kiki, Terry and my partner horse for this special experience. horses.

The
Healing Equine Ranch
(aka t.h.e. ranch) is nestled in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains
in California. We are a 501c3 organization and our goal is to create
a positive and natural environment where horses and humans can interact
and learn.
We
are inspired by the knowledge we gain from interacting naturally with
horses. Utilizing the techniques of those who have gone before us and
those who continue to spread the word, we offer experiential learning
for anyone with a love of nature and horses. We know that by improving
our own skills with horses, we receive benefits in all areas of our
lives. Enhanced partnerships, stronger leadership, improved communication,
self esteem, boundaries and more honest relationships. Most importantly,

Our
popular Horse Mornings for Women series
is the ranch's flagship program. Combining elements of natural horsemanship
with an emphasis on human growth and awareness, this program allows
you the opportunity to explore what you bring to the relationship with
horses, while giving you tools, tasks and situations that will to help
you partner with these beautiful animals. By learning just a few key
points you could be on your way to a life changing and enriching experience
with horses that will invariably carry over into your other relationships.
This program can be customized for all demographics including couples,
children, teenagers, men's groups and more.
We visit senior centers and hospitals with our mini horse outreach program.
These visits offer experiential learning, animal companionship and interaction.

Our herd is made up of a variety of rescued horses.
As certified equine specialists (through the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association), we support the group efforts, worldwide, of those who explore the healing and educational aspects of the horse human bond. We host Natural Horsemanship Clinics as well as groups that offer different modalities ranging from Equine Guided Education to Equine Assisted Growth and Learning and Psychotherapy.
