Horse Mornings for Women is a four week program. Participants meet once a week for two hours to learn how to connect with horses using the their natural language. This language includes body messages, intention, focus, breathing, working with energy and developing a keen observation of what is important to the horse.
This course is for anyone with a love of horses and a desire to know more about the subtle ways they communicate. Beginners welcome. (All interaction will be on the ground, no riding)
These are small groups 4-6 people usually. Lots one on one time with the instructors and the horses.
Meet your instructors:
Kiki Ebsen and Terry Carroll are life long friends. They created Horse Mornings for Women over ten years ago. It quickly became a popular workshop series in the community. Awhile back the two women embarked on separate journeys in order to further their own growth and education. Kiki immersed herself in yoga studies and completed her yoga teacher training (RYT 200, Y12SR). She continued to train with her horsemanship mentors while developing three more rescue horses for The Healing Equine Ranch. Terry became a certified substance use disorder counselor, addiction specialist and life coach (CADC-CAS). She started her own business, Stable Lives, instilling hope, restoring balance and awakening joy in families in need. By helping others, Terry strengthened the bond with her own horses. Kiki and Terry unveil a new Horse Mornings for Women for 2022, combining their knowledge and experience to present a program that is filled with new insight and inspiration designed to further educate, enlighten and empower their students.
Session 1-Horses in the herd. Observing the natural hierarchy. Connecting with your own horse and building the relationship.
Session 2-Ground work. Connecting with horses using a halter and lead rope. Basic body language, breathing and creative visualization.
Session 3-Liberty. Just you and the truth about your relationship.
Session 4-Putting it all together.
