Horse Mornings is a small-group equine-assisted learning experience designed to deepen connection — with horses, with others, and within yourself.
In this relaxed and supportive setting, we blend natural horsemanship, equine psychology, mindfulness, and somatic awareness to explore what it truly means to be present.
Horses live in constant relational awareness. They respond to subtle shifts in breath, posture, muscle tone, and intention. When we slow down enough to listen, they become powerful teachers of congruence, clarity, and authentic connection.
Whether you are new to horses, returning after time away, or exploring equine-assisted work professionally, Horse Mornings offers meaningful, hands-on learning in a grounded and welcoming environment.
What We Explore Together
Each session is shaped by the herd and the group. Experiences may include:
Guided opening circle and intention setting
Herd observation and equine body language education
Liberty and round pen connection work
Grooming and foundational horse care
Mindful movement and obstacle exercises
Breathwork and somatic regulation practices
Reflective walks with horses in nature
Expressive arts for integration
Closing circle and group reflection
Participants are welcome to bring lunch and stay afterward for informal community time.
The Deeper Work
Horses are exquisitely sensitive to the nervous system states of those around them. As prey animals, their survival depends on reading subtle physiological cues.
This makes them remarkable partners in exploring:
Attunement and relational safety
Nervous system regulation and co-regulation
Boundaries and embodied clarity
Congruence between intention and action
Presence as a pathway to connection
Participants often notice how shifts in breathing, grounding, and internal regulation immediately influence the horse’s response — offering real-time feedback that deepens learning far beyond intellectual understanding.
