Discover the science of safety, connection, and authentic relationship through the wisdom of horses.
How do horses experience the world—and what can they teach us about ourselves?
This immersive, small-group workshop explores the fascinating intersection of equine neuroscience, human neurobiology, and authentic horse-human connection. Through herd observation, experiential activities, and guided reflection, participants discover how safety, regulation, and curiosity influence learning, relationships, and well-being.
Grounded in contemporary neuroscience and experiential learning, Horses, Humans & the Neurobiology of Presence invites participants to see both horses and themselves through a new lens—one that values awareness, connection, and the nervous system's remarkable capacity for growth.
Participants will:
Discover how safety and nervous system regulation influence behavior, learning, and relationships.
Understand how horses communicate through body language, movement, and social connection.
Explore how curiosity, predictability, and authentic presence foster trust and meaningful relationships.
Experience practical mindfulness and reflective practices that deepen self-awareness and resilience.
Rather than simply learning about horses, participants learn with horses. By observing the herd and engaging in thoughtfully guided experiences, you'll gain practical insights that extend far beyond the ranch into your relationships, leadership, and everyday life.
No horse experience is necessary. All activities are ground-based.
