What happens when we replace doing with listening, and pressure with presence?
Join us for an immersive small-group experience exploring the transformative power of mindful touch, quiet observation, and authentic horse-human connection.
Through guided interactions with horses, introductory bodywork techniques, rope skills, and reflective practices, participants discover how softness, patience, and presence create the conditions for trust, relaxation, and communication. Together, we'll explore how thoughtful requests, the quality of pressure, and the timing of its release invite horses into partnership, allowing them to find genuine relief, confidence, and willingness.
Grounded in equine behavior, contemporary neuroscience, and experiential learning, The Art of Softness invites participants to develop a deeper awareness of themselves and the horses, discovering how listening with our hands, our attention, and our presence can transform the way we communicate and connect.
Participants will:
Discover a greater awareness through mindful observation, touch, and presence.
Develop a true feel for thoughtful requests, the quality of pressure, and the timing of its release, allowing the horse to find genuine relief and build trust.
Experience introductory horse-centered bodywork techniques that encourage relaxation, comfort, and connection.
Cultivate patience, curiosity, and the ability to listen rather than direct.
Rather than simply learning about horses, participants learn with horses. By slowing down and engaging in thoughtful, hands-on experiences, you'll discover how authentic connection often begins when we do less, notice more, and allow the horse to become an active partner in the conversation.
No horse experience is necessary. All activities are ground-based.
